HOOYAH .. another week gone and only two more to go till Olly is returning to his job at school. You know I love my husband but every six weeks in summer he is driing me crazy. Perhaps not as much as last year but I notice the tell-tale signs where I get irritable... like yesterday him inspecting the fridge and then deciding it all had to go ... into the bin. *sigh*
Out of 40 items 3 were out of date (by a few days) but everything had to go (Olly: "All this bad bacteria will have affected the rest too" Una: "Yeah right, esp. as it is all fresh and closed up." )

First we had to redo our living area .. today he wants to clean up the balcony (AFTER we had so much nice sunny weather and it is now raining again). And of course I'll end up doing the cleaning while he finds something totally interesting to him which he can spread out till tonight when I am totally tired and he will claim he did all the work.
Like three weeks ago when I cleaned the complete living space while HE really had to go through his computer spare parts, something that is labelled and put away indexed... but hey, they needed his attention BIG TIME!
MEN!!!

I have decided that if I ever publish a novel I'll use the maiden name of my great-grandmother's. I can't write in German, so I will have to submit my stuff to English speaking publishing houses and what better than to have an English surname? Especially as Geiger is even less easily pronouncable than my maiden name. Giga? Gieger? Gyger? *LOL*

Tomorrow koellegirl is coming over ... I'm looking forward to that. It is always nice to meet ppl face to face :)

Yeah that is what I think too ... sigh ... of course I had to get my hands dirty and Mr. Oliver G. was giving unwanted advice ... only two more weeks till the school's beginning ... YAY!!
