I love my home town. Always have and I think it is one of the best cities in the world, because we have the River Rhine right in front of us, beautiful landscapes, great parks, old buildings and great restaurants. AND we have a Japanese garden, Shinto temple and lots of restaurants, convenience stores and a bookshop here. All Japanese!!! Though the magazines are really expensive *sigh*
Anyway, the 2007 World-wide quality of living survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting released their ranking today and in the overall list of quality of living in cities globally, my hometown ranked 5th place. YOSH!!!
Duesseldorf ROCKS!! *makes a booty dance*

Date: 2007-04-03 06:45 am (UTC)Yeah D-Dorf rocks :) It is not as exciting as Cologne or some other city but due to the ppl and also the cityscape, the blending of old and new, it is a very enjoyable city :)
And I miss you!

Date: 2007-04-03 02:57 pm (UTC)The nicest thing I can think off - I am happy for you!
Other than that - those people from Mercer must be barmy... D-dorf 5th place in the world...
Don't know if I can live it down - I won't even ask where Cologne is ranking. (lol)
On another note: I hope you are feeling not to bad after your chemo. All the best from Cologne - have a nice Easter Holiday.
