scottishlassTHANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY AGAIN !! Long itme no see ... I really should get more disciplined and write every day but I can't :) Never did .. though so many thoughts go around in my mind :)
I posted a teaser of Seeds Of Time on the Luke and Mara list, nothing too fancy but it serves to keep those avid fans satisfied to wait till November :) I'm working on three different fics now, two Star Wars and one Farscape fic .... but someohow the writer's block is silently but surely creeping in.
Of course, I know some techniques . like just writing what takes my fancy but atm all I want ot do is create more graphics and drawings ... *sigh* I really hate this creative streak of mine.
I have had a lot fo time to think about that .. the creative streak ... it is sometimes like a curse and sometimes like a precious gift I seem to waste. I wanted to go to the arts academy, but decided against it. I knew too many breadless artists who lived from hand to mouth and never got famous. But then again studying literature and making the MA and PhD didn't help me much either .. I mean I don't even work in this field anymore. But hey, this is me and my life and I love it :) I wonder if my father would approve of my Art. After all he is hte artist in that circle of strangers I call my family. Well only one way to find out but I'll be damned if I asked I'm not that stupid.
Hey, I'm feeling philosophical today ... must be the chemo .. dunno :s Soon enough I'll be a bald headed, toothless little Buddha ... perhaps I should paint my skin blue and go as blue-assed bald bitch *lol* Freddy and Ralf would have a field day with it.
I'm also thinking about changing the layout of my DarkScape site ... though I'm stil not sure how to do it .. DHTML or not that is the question *lol* Okay I better get back to work ... this script won't script itself even if I threaten to trash it *lol*
