Life imitating art or Germany's youngest pop rockers are Johnny's??

For three years we have a new German music wave here in G. A lot of new bands cropped up all singing German and they are all really good (Juli, Silbermond, Mia, Wir sind Helden, Rosenstolz). Now, about two years ago there was a new band on the horizon, five young guys all under age, with two front men Tom and Bill Kaulitz, twins. Now, when I first saw them I was like ... Johnny's???
Because Bill Kaulitz the singer of the band called TOKIO HOTEL (coincidence?!) looks a bit like a cross between the front man of Placebo, Brian Molko, and Hyde *lol*
Unfortunately my two little god daughters are both hard core TH fans (and they are still in first and third grade of elementary) so I have been exposed to a wee bit by that band ... but sane as I am (yeah *snicker*) I'm not a fan. Period. It just struck me as funny that there are so many parallels with some JE's bands.

Well - as most stuff they sing about lies so far into my past, I don't think I will become a fan. There is no identification - Jeesh they could all be my kids. :)
