A fleeting sense of spring
Feb. 18th, 2007 06:08 pmToday we went for a walk in the Neandertal (yep, the same place where the Neanderthals squatted all those thousands of years ago) and even though the air was crisp with cold, all around there was a sense of spring in the air.
Even the bushes and trees start to bud and where normally this time of year there are thick layers of snow and ice, there was dry ground and a swiftly running rivulet inmidst green meadows.

Atm I'm patterning the bathrobe for His Hubbiness and hopefully I can finish it by tomorrow. I miss sewing but doing my little secret project is really important atm. But! I really think I will turn to my other crafts again now that I have more time. I don't need to spend hours upon hours at my computer other than watching the occasional drama or movie. I can sew again, read (Oh God, YES!), do some knitting, and doing some serious painting and sketching again. Oh and of course, going on long walks with Chica and Cenour whom I called Kimura today - well at least he cannot get confused, he is deaf anyway *lol*
Okay, off to pattern the bathrobe :)
