scottishlass: (SAAB WTF)

Okay, so much for alliteration ... but seriously, I hope I won't get bitten. Atm it is more of a sickly fascination. Let's face it, I'm a sucker for military sci-fi and sometimes - but only sometimes - BSG resembles it ... a little bit.
Good thing the Cylons are still as dumb as ever, otherwise the battlestar with all its personnel fragging each other's brains out or thinking about fragging each other's brains out would have been history in episode one.
If Boss Ross ever had a crew like that on the Toga the Marines would have been chig-fodder. Sorry, but a more undisciplined bunch as the fighter pilots of BSG I have never seen. They are in dire need of a certain Lt.Col. who would whip them into shape.
And frankly, I cannot invision Adama ever telling the spooks and politicians: "This is my ship, now get the hell off her!"

Though it is sometimes really eery how similar frames from each series look - I have to watch more of BSG of course, but it struck me as funny. It seems at times BSG is nothing more than S:AAB Re-loaded with more sex.

is kind of the point. I mean, they're not the fleet's best and brightest, exactly - they're simply what's *left*, on an old museum's piece of a ship. That said... IMO Adama rocks, and so does Roslin. I like the kind of uneasy truces they have to make all the time.

Hiya :) Long time no see :)

Okay I will give it another try .. I like the visuals of the computer graphics. It is as gritty as S:AAB and not as *geleckt* as some other shows out there. And I agree Adama/Roslin is a wonderful pairing.
