My heroine has a drinking problem ...

Seriously, every time the father of Min-Young turns up, afterwards she drinks herself into a stupor. I'm writing the scene that leads up to the drunk sex smut scene with Jin-Woo and she urges him to drink with her to which he reluctantly agrees.
I even bought a bottle of Soju today for research reasons but so far haven't touched it yet because ... well I need to finish the novel :) Once I drink alcohol I get articular gout in both hands and writing will be out of the question for the next two days. So I will safe that little green bottle for Friday when all of this is finished.

*sigh* Only 1,679 words 'til I reach the 50k mark ... I want to finish it tomorrow, tonight it's far too late (half past 1 in the morning).

Typical Korean problem. Maybe, she pretends to be drunk, but actually is not so much... Maybe, he stops her before she gets too drunk... Don't drink Soju - I hate the taste, worse than Vodka!

Oh she is drunk because she is throwing a pity party, he tries to stop her but thinks it is better she drinks with him than with a stranger ... AND he brings her up to her room and leaves. Problem is she feels so rejected (by her dad and somehow also by Jin Woo) that she comes to his room (he forgets to lock the door in his drunken state) and she suddenly sits at his bed and he had been thinking about taking a cold shower and one thing leads to the next.

I loved Vodka during my university times, esp. Finlandia Vodka but ever since I got my first chemo therapy I have this problem with alcohol, even a tiny glass of wine sends me into a painful case of gout the next day which is ridiculous :(

Ahh... Makes sense. I have a personal bias about Korean Drunk Sex drama themes. How much do you have to drink to black out like that? Also, you are probably going to be violently ill and throw up most of the night. Anyway, I'm just saying...
Sorry about you and alcohol, but ultimately, it's not like you are losing out on the best experience of your life. It is just a drink.

You should validate your novel until the 30th (go to your dashboard, your novel and in the edit feature you find a tiny link under the title of your novel where you can vailidate so that the bar says winner underneath your name instead of the your word count :)

Well some ppl told me it is quite strong (it's made out of potatoes like vodka) but that some soju tastes sweet and some doesn't. I will report on Saturday LOL

They make it out of different things. Mainly sweet potatoes, add some high fructose syrop and sometimes grain, like wheat. They also have a more pure kind that tastes better.
