NaNoWriMo update and stuff

Sooo ... I might make it this year. 37835 words and counting. The story might not be the most original or even the best I have ever written (actually some of my S:AAB and Faith stuff is better than this) but as for an original story I think it is pretty okay. Still working in some narrative parts (descriptions etc.) as well as fitting in the story of the secondary OTP, oh the crazy secondary lead who still lacks motivation why she is as she is (perhaps a super huge case of hybris and selfishness??) LOL
Anyway, it is going good, which is a HUGE accomplishment on my part as usually around this time of NaNoWriMo I'm a nervous wreck and usually throw in the towel.

Watching Monsters ... WTF? Shingo-chan is so scary with that weird smile. Yamapi is hamming again ... a far cry from his weird but cute and wonderful Akira. Watchign this jdrama is like Mr Brain on acid only much weirder and scarier (Shin-chan????)

Still plenty words to go .. but I'm putting in the narrative now, the descriptions of the places, I want the reader to get a feel of Seoul, of the shooting locations, the city, the old palaces.
When I did research I even recognized some places from Faith and QIHM LOL

Good job on going strong with NaNoWriMo! My November is too insane this year so I didn't commit to it even though I've been looking forward to it all year. I think I just might make December my NaDeWriMo, haha!

And like you I would write a novel that's somewhat similar to a script for Korean drama. I just can't help it that I have so many awesome ideas after years of watching Asian dramas.

What is "hamming"? I would love to watch another Yamapi drama as long as it's not too terrible...

Hamming means bad acting, overdoing it, and Tomohisa definitely does that :( But his character has one redeeming trait - his girl-friend Emi-chan is a chubby chick (the chubby girl from SMAPxSMAP Shopping girl skit with Kimura)

How many Monsters have you seen? I've seen 2 so far - love it & Yamadork finally back even if he's not Akira. But his "partner" - his smile is so creepy! And what is going on in his head?!!

I have seen two eps as well so far. Yamadork .. OH I love that word and it fits so much. And I love him with Emi-chan, he is so dorky and in love and all :)

I really don't know what is going on with Shingo's character. The way he talks, the way he always stresses that he has no imagination and that creepy grin. It sounds as if he has Asperger or something similar. Most of his gestures seem to be wooden and studied, as if he has to bring himself to do them to appear human.
I don't know if the series is based on a manga (though the over the top behaviour of the Crime Fighting Unit etc. suggests something of that note) but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out Hiratsuka Heihachi is a demon or something LOL That bell sound when he thinks and taps his finger against his temple? Somehow it reminds me of a legend or such where you can detect a demon from the hollow sound s/he makes when you tap them. Because they lack a soul.
I don't know what to think of the whole drama so far but it is good to see Shingo all dressed up in that spiffy suit :)
