August - autumn comes ...

It is supposed to be the season of high summer, of golden light and warm evenings ... what we got is cold days and even colder nights, I need to get my winter clothes out of storage and see what can be salvaged and what needs to get bought new ... sigh I need a good coat - still thinking of sewing one myself. But first I need to make two or three A-form skirts and get myself some nice socks or nylon pants ...

It is really a bummer to get out today to shop instead of in a month or two, but then again I can get out on my own without hubbiness or Chica for a change.

AND I need to get some decent shoes, nothing fits anymore. This sucks.

Shopping in Düsseldorf, you lucky woman... sigh. That's just for the city though. Not for the pain in the arse shopping can become. Some girlie I am, but I seem to lack the shopping gene to a great part. *huggles*

Don't get your winterwoolies out to early - I am quite sure (ähhh I should say hopeful) that we will get a beautiful Indian Summer.
I love shopping, but not for shoes. I find it so very difficult to find something suitable. Everything I like costs a fortune or has 3 inch heels, which I can't walk in.
Anyway, enjoy it as much as you can!

DÜsseldorf is not so beautiful atm, it is raning and shitty cold .. as in ass freezing cold. If it weren't for the green leaves I'd guess it was December or January, it is this cold :-(

It's cold ... really cold ... *sigh* I wish it would be really winter already, then this weather would be okay, but for August???
I hope too, that we will have a wonderful Indian Summer, but I have this strange feeling that due to global warming we won't have definite seasons anymore. We didn't have even a real spring this year, so I fear, we will be having either summer or winter from now on, which is a pity as I love autumn.
