1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I was a flight companion for a dog
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never do resolutions ... they all look so shiny and happy in the New Year and only a week, month or so later they are a burden and you feel bad for failing them. I just go with the flow and see what I can achieve during the cause of the year, but do not force it.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Thankfully none
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, my father in law
5. What countries did you visit?
None
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
a room of my own
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 17 - my father in law dies
March 18 - Cenour undergoes the first of four surgeries concerning his spleen
Summer 2009 - filled with sun, warmth and endless days at the beach picknicking
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting hubby to agree to look at yet another house
9. What was your biggest failure?
Another year gone by without finding a house
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just a bit of this and that, nothing - gratefully - serious
11. What was the best thing you bought?
a dark blue long cardigan in soft wool - I love it :)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Cenour recovering from his spleen tumor
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Some stupid bitches over in fandom and the dogs' forum I frequent.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Fannish things and my dogs
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Possibility of decorating a whole house, colour concepts, furniture (and building/polishing them up)

Unfortunately it's Poker Face :( Oh and Robbie Williams' Bodies.

A cell phone (the one I want is not available in Europe :()

Didn't watch any movies at the cinema .. but discovered Ai no Kotodama from 2008.

I celebrated my birthday withlittle_witch27 with lots of fangirling. I turned 42 39³ :D
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Finding a house, moving in and celebrating Christmas there already.

Eclectic layers ... from jeans to pin stripes, from black to ORANGE-dark cranberry, cassocks or dresses over trousers, so not age-appropriate :D

Monthly dinners at Japanese restaurants with Claudia

Kimura Takuya & RUKA
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Re-election of our Chancelloress. WHY do ppl either turn up to elections and just vote for the lesser of two evils or don't turn up at all (and hence have their non-vote giving to one of the parties in percentage)??? Why not turn up at election and make your voting slip VOID? Your non-vote will not go to any party in percentage AND you show with this abstention the ruling parties that you want a change of politics. ARGH!!

My best friend who is now in SA with her family.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
I met so many new person's but if I had to pick it would be Claudia and her family plus dog Benni and the four cats.

Move your ass yourself, it won't be moved for you.
