vierran45 chose from my stash:
This is from the opening scene of Karei-naru ichizoku (The grand family) which stars Kimura Takuya. I animated the icon with falling snow. The icon is sad and it works as my winter icon very well.
That icon was made from a photo I took a couple of years ago, it actually shows the road to my great-aunt's house. It is surrounded by tall hedges and trees. The icon itself is a multi-purpose autumn-themed/sewing/tea icon.
I love the Wombles and especially Orinoco. When I came across this photo I knew I wanted to have it as my own icon. I use it when I post non-dog/non-fandom/just me related stuff.
RUKA!!! When I came across the official photoshoot for Majestical Parade, the recent CD of Naitomea, I couldn't take my eyes off this photo. But I wanted an icon that was animated, and as Ruka has his eyes closed in this particular picture, I used another one with him and open eyes and photoshopped. Result is mysterious and creepy and subtle ... and I love it.
Chica. The only icon in this bunch I didn't make.kaorumorite made this after I had posted a picture of Chica jumping into the air. Incidentally it was was one of the last pictures we took of Chica and I use it for my doggy postings as well for happy real life postings.
Ikuta Toma. The forgotten JE Boy. I like his acting style and that he has overcome his bitterness at not having debuted yet with his friends (KAT-TUN, NewS etc.) I loved him as Nakatsu, but also in Maou and in other doramas. I use this icon when it is JE related but not SMAP/Kimura related.
