In about 1 1/2 weeks there is this Regency weekend event down in the South of Germany where I already registered and all. Our new little dog will be coming this weekend and the next, there is this Regency weekend. Now I'm in a dilemma, as much as I wanted to go in December (I paid for food/beverage and the room already in December) I don't want to go anymore. Besides, I don't feel like fitting in there - it is too French, too high-brow and somehow I really don't know what I should do for almost three days there.
So ... I think I won't go. I rather spend the time with His Hubbiness and our new dog.

Additionally, I have to go by train and bus to go to Zeilitzheim .. five hours of driving there on Friday and 5 hours back on Sunday ... I hate to be confined for this long in a train or a bus. And no chance to get a smoke :s
Naw, I'm set, I will call this Regency weekend off.

Lovely dog, Una. What's its name? Did you get it from a animal center?
I can well understand, that you don't want to go away! How are your regency dresses coming on? Before you told me about all these meetings, I didn't know, that people would recreate these times. It really sounds like fun - except for all the sewing.

Sheis called Stubsi and is a little Donna D'Espana :) She flies in from Barcelona next Sunday, she was put into a animal shelter and there she would have been killed as she is already 8 years old.
