Juhi is so pretty ...
Feb. 21st, 2006 11:49 pmI really need ot watch more of Juhi Chawla's movies. She is still so pretty and expressive. I loved her in Paheli even though she had only a few scenes.
As for my life ... it sucks ... I have a middle ear infection and bingo I'm on antibiotics and on leave till Monday included. So event though I have time off from work I have these really awful ear aches :s I hate being sick.

Date: 2006-02-22 02:25 pm (UTC)She loves all colours, spcially pink and green and purple, but she looks great in any bright colour, given her darker skin and raven-black hair.
THANK YOU!!!
I shall make pics (hoping to get it right) and send you them ...
Huggles and love,
Elf

Date: 2006-02-22 02:14 pm (UTC)Okay, instead of a saree, try to find either a very long very colourful shawl to wrap around her hips and then secure it once over her shoulder or a very colourful skirt.
If you find some fabric in orange or pink and then just paint on some ornaments on the hem with silver or gold that would do as well. She'll need a similarly coloured top (best belly free).
As for the jewelry. Bangles, lots of bangles. You could do them in FIMO and just paint them in red, green and gold.
As for the tika and the earrings - use something dangly for the earrings, and for the tika (the center jewellery on the forehead) use a trinket or something with a fake pearl or little semi-precious stone (best with the chain attached or a piece of yarn) and secure it with hair pins at the top of her head.
For the hair, use a *Haarreifen* and slick back the hair from her forehead and put it into a bun (you could use babyoil for the slicking). If you have an old Haarreifen, then glue fake (or real) white or yellow (marrigolds) flowers onto it and you can secure the tika-yarn at that as well.
If she wants to go as a little Indian girl again, I can send over some stuff for her - like jewellery (tika, earpieces etc.)
As for make up ... lots of kajal around the eyes and a red bindi between the eyebrows. A bit of red on the lips and she is ready to go :)
