scottishlass | Of rain and autumn leaves ... and baby bear's bday

The chestnut trees in front of my window are beginning to turn yellow and brown and the rain hasn't stopped falling since early this morning. I guess now we really have autumn.
It is strange, even though I enjoy the warmth and colours of summer, the pristine blue skies and the soft summer breezes, I am and always will be an autumn child.

It is time for Loreena McKennit and All About Eve, Kate Bush and Annie Lennox. The time of year to spend reading and crafting, sipping tea while sitting near the window and watching the leaves turn russet and golden.

9/11 always leaves me so drained, so it is a delight that today, two years ago, Cenour happned to arrive in Germany and we took him in as our foster dog. He looked so huge and wild at that time, and now I cannot imagine him ever being such a wild creature. He is such a gentle small dog :)
