May. 28th, 2004 02:48 amWe are back and hopefully better than ever :)
Gosh I really am relieved. Now all that is left is to pay our Il Maestro di PHP and kiss his feet for as long as I live :D

Date: 2004-05-28 12:12 am (UTC)It is such a relief to have m.i.t.m. up and running again :) It really pained me to see it on hiatus but I couldn't help it. The only thing I did in hospital was playing the Sims and making new objects for them so I could furnish my little houses with nice stuff. Olly always kept me updated with downloaded stuff but that is not the same.
Good thing was a friend of mine posted my created stuff on the net, so that I could know at least that other's enjoy my creativity too. I have rebuild almost all props of LOTR in Sims, as well as Claude Monet's house in Giverny before I got released ... but it was better to just move the mouse of my laptop than typing - I guess I'm still a painter at heart instead of a writer :s
Lani, did you get your new login info? SO you can update your story yourself. Let me know if you didn't receive anything.

Date: 2004-05-28 12:50 am (UTC)I feel your relief! I think the new system is fantastic. It will take a hell of a lot of pressure off of you and let the authors access their fiction easily and whenever they please. Everyone is happy!
I'm really glad to hear you were able to put your creative energy into something in hospital. We love the Sims here and most of the time I usually just sit around listening to the relaxing music whilst building and furnishing. That's where the thrill lies for me, not so much in playing, but in the creating. Imagine having the money to be able to do that in real life!

WOW! That's incredible! And you have all your items on a website?

Pft! I think there's quite a lot of people out there that would disagree with that!
Lani, did you get your new login info?
I did! And I logged in, changed my password and edited a couple of chapters already! It's beautifully set out and SO easy, Una. Really, thumbs up!

Date: 2004-05-28 08:01 pm (UTC)Yes we have a small site ... it is on an US server but can only be accessed via a portal from my own URL (we use a university server and no one should know about it).
So here it is, Tracey's, Manna's, Grahame's and mine Sims site
Cómhair (http://www.different-worlds.net/SIMS/) Direct link to the LOTR stuff (http://simlab.geog.arizona.edu/~una/frames/objects_themeslotr.html) (skins and objects - Rohan armour etc). I tried to make stuff that I didn't already had. So there is a lot of Rohirrim stuff as well as Elven :)
