Pet cuteness

We were walking today for three hours as the elevator in our building was out of order and I can't schlepp Chica (11 kg) and Cenour (20 kg) three storeys up and down.
But when we came back the engineers were just finishing up so we could ride up to our level.
But as Cenour was still full of energy and started to eliminize his bone, Chica was totally wasted and went to sleep.

In the foreground you can see Cenour's lame leg, the joint which you can see here had been broken but it wasn't fixed and a lot of calcium grew around the join to make it lame - we call this leg his fortune-paw :)

As you can see, Chica's tongue is mauve-coloured, not quite purple and not quite red. We suspect there was a chow-chow or husky somewhere in her family tree.
