Aftermath II

scottishlassDue to recent attacks and how I have been feeling lately, my significant other takes care of me and even broke one of his golden rules for me tonight. I really still can't believe that after all the recent miserable events to announce something very hopeful - yep, Una is getting married.
I'd never had thought it would come to this - me, a married woman. But then again when you reach a certain age [snort] you wonder what you want out of your life and just work and sleep isn't enough. You want to keep the loved ones you have at your site, especially after recent terrorist attacks, and just don't let go. And if push comes to shove and either one of us will have to go, the other who remains will have fond memories - hopefully.
Anyway what I want to say is that I will NOT getting married with all the shebang but in normal street clothes with only very dear friends present and getting drunk as skunks afterwards. Now that will be fun.
