Sleeping Prince

scottishlassYesterday His Hubbiness™ went for a long walk with our two dogs and in the evening, Cenour fell asleep over his bone. Aww, he is so cute, the little dear. He was tired after all that nosing and running around.
Atm he is on the balcony and watching the ppl on the street, looking up into the sun and closing his eyes. If you look into his eyes you see so much wisdom and Zen, it is amazing. He is so exalted and knowing, as if he knows the secrets of the world and the universe. Cenour definitely enjoys life now. He even starts to play with us, something he didn't dare to do and some of his manners remind of a little puppy than a grown dog which is so adorable. He loves it when I feed him, he puts a cookie into my lap and touches my hand with his snout, then he looks up at me and waits. If I play dumb, he does it again with a little impatient sniff. Awww.
I also made a little photo video collage for Chica - this March she will have her first year anniversary :)
I think I will make one for Cenour too :)
This week until the first week of March I will have my resting days. I am glad I didn't have to go to treatment today as I don't feel too peachy atm. It's nothing serious, just a bit of fatigue and my skin is going down the drain. I look as if I'm in the middle of my puberty. One slight scratch with a nail and I bleed. Last night His Hubbiness™ bought a milk shake with a straw in it and while I sucked on it, my palate in my mouth started bleeding from the sucking. *sigh* Not again. When it first happened towards the end of my first chemo it freaked me out to no end, now I seem to take it in stride. But it terrifies me a bit that this already started so early into the chemo. It seems with each chemo my body remembers what side effects a chemo can have and churns them out quickly. When I brushed my hair this morning I lost a bit more than usual and also my eyebrows seem to get thinner again. Oh well, as long as I don't pull a Britney Spears, I will prevail. No use of crying over spilled milk, I know what is happening so I'm prepared. But the first time around, gosh, it scared me shitless.
But I love my pirate scarves and my hats. I found a beautiful green velvet of which I will make myself another one of those Victorian caps. I love those and my dark brown one is getting a good workout this winter and looks a bit worn already - oh well it is also over 15 years old so making a new one is high time already :)
Okay, off to do some shopping. Perhaps I will find some nice fabric again - I want to sew something for myself for this spring.
