Yesterday my mother-in-law was in surgery due to the breast cancer diagnosis a week ago. All went well, and hopefully with no complications she will be cancer free. I went to her yesterday and she was already lucid after three hours after surgery. I'm so happy all is well, I don't know what I would have done if something had gone wrong. But fortunately nothing did. YAY!
As in other news, Chica bit me twice from Wednesday to Thursday night. I guess she felt my anticipation and tension and reacted accordingly. Our vet is now calling her Killer! *rolls eyes*
My turn of the century walking suit is coming along nicely. I only have to hem the skirt, add the waistdand and also put the sleeves and collar onto the Eton jacket. I'm glad that this is going to be finished in a week time. Then I have to start either on my Caracao project with quilted skirt (I'm still thinking about the Kassel Event in September but then I need something Rokkoko) or 1940's WAAF uniform for the Trocadero Ball in October.
