Time flies and then some

scottishlassYou know for me the new year was just yesterday and look ... it is already March. The past month has gone by like a whirlwind. With our new family member time has changed considerably. My days have been divided into a different rythm which is much better than before. Even though I have to get up earlier than usual and also have to go out more. I even leave work for our dog to go out walking rahter than staying in front of this infernal machine all day. Definitely a plus.
But other things have multiplied. I guess like any new parent I worry more about my precious charge. A sneeze, a little limb and I worry if Chica is okay. Crazy I know as this little dog is more sturdy than it looks but still I worry like a mom seeing her baby leaving the nest.Would I do it all over again? YES!! Definitely a yes, even though my hobbies have been put into the background and I'm more outside in the rain walking the dog than being inside and reading or sewing or updating. But seeing Chica curled up on my lap is worth it.
