Don't feel like updating today

scottishlassStill coughing half my lungs out ... in times like these it is a bitch to be a smoker, but then again even as a kid when I didn't smoke, I had really bad cases of bronchitis that were as painful as what I have now. So yeah ... I will still continue to smoke.
Sometimes I'd wish I could kick myself though for ever having started to smoke. I was 24 when I started, not your usual age to start up that particular habit. I was working full time during my summer break at a Japanese company. I worked closely with my three Japanese bosses and shared the work space with them. All three were chain smokers and about two weeks into my work there, when I came home from work, I had these shivers. My hands were shaking and I had bad lapses in memory.
I went to the doc but he couldn't find anything wrong with me, until a work colleague of mine told me I had nicotine craving. Figures. But instead of looking for another job (my job was very well paid and I needed the money at that time as I financed my complete studies) I remained there and by the end of my three months stint there (I continued to work there half time during my terms too), I was a smoker. *rolls eyes*
Well if I have to die then at least I die by my own chosing. I'll be damned if I die of breastcancer!
