... one idea of a novel is bugging me for quite some time now but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. It would be highly biographical and would involve ppl I love, respect and adore.
It would be my first REAL project on writing.
That is a scarey thought. I mean beforehand it was always playing around, fanfiction is easy, it has fixed boundaries and rules, and most of the time you return characters that do not belong to you, will be returned mostly unharmed. But with an original piece it will be much more difficult.
Do - there is no try.

I sincerely think that a writer's journal is very interesting. Being a writer myself, I would certainly read your writings and your ideas... May I add you on my friends list? I want to tell you that if you're not adding me back on yours, no offense will be taken.

About this present post, I think you should really try writing that highly biographical novel. Nevertheless, I totally understand your feelings, the thought itself is scary. You will be more involved in your writings. It's also very appealing, very challenging, to create characters based on people you really love, respect and adore. I take care of my characters because they are alive.

If you ever need some advices, some support, some help; anything, I would be delighted to help you.

I can help you with Live Journal. I will explain how to add someone to your friend's list. And no, you're not dumb at all, even though I've done many years of university, there is still many things I can not accomplish all alone. Sometimes, we just need help. :o)

The easiest way to add a friend is to go on the friend's informations page and use the button "Add a friend". So long as you are logged in Live Journal, you will see this option on everyone's UserInfo page. It's normal. The button is the one with a small "+" symbol, located in the blue toolbar at the top of the userinfo page. Once you click on that icon, you will be gently asked to confirm your decision before the user is added to your Friends list on Live Journal.

To edit your friends list just go there: http://www.livejournal.com/friends/edit.bml. That way, you can also add a friend through the section "Add friends" at the bottom of the page. You can write the friend's name and choose some colors related with that friend.
