scottishlassOkay, I said I didn't want to rant but if I don't I'll gonna burst. The following are just stuff that have built up since November last year. Stuff that comes from different fandoms and are not in any particular order but I need to vent and where better than my much neglected diary? - okay, let it rip:
You know what really pisses me off? Those left wing bleeding hearts who preach about love and good vibes and ganja happiness and then turn vicious if you tell them to shut up if they go on about soldiers being murderers and potential pillagers and rapists of women and children. THIS PISSES ME OFF. I really, really would love to put this assholes into a combat sit. Just plonk their silly asses into a trench and have them dodge bullets and THEN ... THEN they should tell me again my friends and family are rapists and killers. That is taking lovey-dovey peace love and such too far.
I can live with about 30 mails a day where it says: Una u suck, or u are a bitch ... but if certain ppl start calling me a fascist just because they read my old journal where I ranted about terrorists in general and certain 9/11 terrorists in particular AND cheering my friends in arms on to return savely home, then this is going too far.
Oh and then these very ppl have the chuzpe to say that the Spanish police should have tried to take the bombers alive. Yeah right ... they only put upon themselves what they put upon 190 innocent ppl in those trains. But yeah ... ppl here in Europe seem to have bleeding hearts especially for the killers instead of the victims. Damn liberal democracy and its teachings sometimes. We liberate ourselves to immobilization.
Oh yeah the hate mail ... I'm laughing my frelling head off here, because of the stupidity some ppl seem to display. NOTHING is anonymous on the net, even if you create a brand spanking new msn or yahoo account under an alias and then send your vitriolic hate mails. Go get real, chicas. You leave trails on the net, you leave your IP addies not only at the login but also INSIDE the mails you sent. And then finding out the ISP in question is not a big feat for a techie.
I don't mind hate mail, in fact I thrive on it ... but chica-doos, fess up to them so we can go 101. It isn't very cool to send mails under an alias and then deleting the account without a chance to bitch back ... and I can bitch better than you, believe me ... because *I* have my big girl panties on! I never hesitate to tell someone face to face and with my real ID if it is a sucker or not. That is called taking responsiblity for what you say .. I wrote it .. I own it.
Ah ... and then those fake deaths. You know it isn't funny to stage your own death if you are fed up with a fandom. Just face the music if you have screwed up or are bored of a fandom instead of staging your death and then secretly wank off on all those condolences your online friends put up. Some ppl just don't have any ethics left and they do not think about those folks who are really on death' doorstep. JEEZ FUCKING CHRIST!!! If I will see another death notice on a message board, I'll gonna rip some of those risen dead another asshole or two ... even if it is the last thing I'll do in that particular fandom.
And then there are the goody two shoes ... the holier than thou who don't think it strange and highly dubious to post nude photos of themselves on their personal websites where a kid has easy access but then to counter the attack to drag me into the mix with what I do as a living. Yes, I did create two websites with adult content. Jeesh I even madew jokes about it here in my journal but I never a) posted pics of naked boobs or erected male *essentials*. And I never showed a pic of myself with my boobs hanging out before even Janet *(b)OOPs* Jackson did it. I do not post direct links to such a site in a forum where kids are, in fact you have a hard time finding my private website from any of my other websites I have, be it Farscape, m.i.t.m. or some other. And then you have to look real hard to find anything that is adult content (apart from my fics which have disclaimers front left and center anyway) and normal kids get bored with the fics till they get to the juicy stuff anyway ... it is (and I quote here) damn too much to read.
Phew, I feel better now.
On a more positive note, m.i.t.m. comes along nicely and a big smoochie to Rob who is Elf and mine hero.
