Happy New Year
Jan. 2nd, 2007 01:14 pmI hope everyone of my flisters had a Happy New Year. We celebrated it very quietly with our dogs and good movies. It was really loud outside around midnight and I had a very frightened little girl doggie in my arms whose little heart pounded like mad. Good thing Cenour can't hear otherwise I would have about 20 kilos of dog in my arms as well :)
Today was my first treatment. I don't feel too bad though the sense of nausea is strong. I had the cutest male nurse setting the IV, he is half-Japanese (his surname is Wagner so he must have a German dad) and has the cutest smile ever, think a cross between Koike Teppei and the typical Kimura smirk. I asked him his first name and he said his friends call him Take and I immediately asked him: Oh is it short for Takeda and he grinned and nodded. Anyway, he was really good putting the IV in my arm and I hope he will be in charge for the rest of my chemo.
My arm feels very warm and I can't concentrate properly as I feel so tired but I'm okay. I had worst days, even though it will get worse. Probably by tonight I will be puking my stomach out, but it is okay ... I have to get through this.
