I had a very weird and scaring episode today. I wanted to prepare dinner when I stood in front of the shelves and reached up to get something from the top shelf. Suddenly my arms began to shake and I couldn't grasp anything. My leg muscles also began shaking and for a moment or two I didn't have any power over my arms and legs.
It really scared the living day lights out of me. I had to sit down on the tiles of the kitchen floor and then after a few minutes I got control over my limbs again. My legs and arms were strong again and I could grasp things without fearing to let it drop.

That was really weird :-(

Una, you should go check it out...really. It can be nothing, it can be something as simple as some changes in your body potassium, but it can be something worse.

While that's not normal...I've been experiencing something like that off and on for the past few months, and I'm still here :P

Don't worry I went to the doctor today, and although he hesitated to give a prelim diagnosis, he took a gallon of blood or so it seems.

It enver happened before that is why it was so frightening, but I went to the doctor today, diagnosis still pending.

Thank you ... the doctor took lots of blood samples and diagnosis is still pending, will get info in about a week.
It really did scare me :s

I did go to the doctors when the blood tests are in I know what exactly is happening to me ... I hope it is just the blood pressure, perhaps I stood up too fast or something, dunno :-(

Best of luck, darl. Last thing you need is another interesting medical condition. Hopefully it's one of those things easily fixed by taking vitamins or somehthing. Thinking about your and wishing the best.
