Another year ...

I decided that I will from now on continue to stay 39 :P - So I have turned 39 +3 yesterday LOL

It was a lovely time, little_witch27 stayed from Wednesday and we fangirled, fought (she mobbed my Ruuuuuuka LOL) and sighed over various jrock and jpop'ers :) She is the bestest birthday present :D Thank you for coming, lil sis :D

On Thursday, we had the bestest Japanese dinner ... Tonkatsu and really nice appetizers. little_witch27 took a picture, so I hope you'll get to see it in no time :) C. had sukiyaki (yet again) but that was yummy as well as we took the left over sauce for the rice. OISHI!!!

These few days always feel like a really special holiday. I can be myself again .. talking and shipping and fangirling over Japan and its music scene ... I don't have anyone around here, so if someone asks me what kind of music I hear, they never *get* it. So for now .. this has to suffice till Japan Day next year in June. *sigh*

This post came at a good point, because I think I'm starting to have minor age crisis with my 40th birthday around the corner :P. There's this major incongruity with my physical age and my mental age. I don't feel like I'll soon be 40. At all O.o.

I'm 30-something in my mind and I think I'll stay that way for quite a while, so seeing figures starting with 4 is still quite a shock to me :).

Good on you Una - now we are the same age again ;-) ( I am 39 + 6) and I feel soooooooooooooooo good about it.

Long time no see!! How are you?

There's this major incongruity with my physical age and my mental age.
I can soooo relate to that ... this weekend, with little_witch27 staying here, I felt like a 30 year old again .. or even younger. It was so much fun being silly and oohing and aaaahing over Japanese guys like teenagers.

Last week I had a very dorama like moment involving a Yankumi *Fight-o!* but no one would get it. I felt so silly suddenly compared to those mature and not exposed to Japanese crack ppl. Still, I won't give it up. Shall they think I'm just a few sandwiches short of a picnic. I love my fandom(s) and my teenage like Love for them :)

Yup, it's been quite awhile. I'm doin fine now. Most of worries are now dissolved, problems were solved. :) I'm so glad, that's why I'll be back posting lj entries again.

I'm happy to read that you had a great time celebrating your birthday with a fellow fangirl. :) I remember when 2 or 3 years ago, I also celebrated it with fangirls. It's super fun!
