My cold is still not getting any better. It seems the doctor I went to see - not my usual as she is on vacation - said something along the lines that I had caught the swine flu. Yeah right. Of course it isn't. If it was the swine flu I'd be running high fever and I would feel even worse than this. Atm it all feels like my usual end of summer/here comes autumn kind of flu which sucks and is only replaced health or unhealthy wise by my this is the end of winter/here comes spring kind of flu.
Naw, I caught whatever His Hubbiness™ sported a week ago - just in a more severe case which is not surprising knowing my immune system has been in tatters ever since my last chemo.

So I sit at home, try not to take too many cold meds as they tend to knock me out cold as poor little_witch27 can attest to. It's like one minute I keep chatting to her and the next it's two or three hours later, I have a crick in my neck and my joints ache, drool all over the place as I wake up in front of the computer. *sigh* I'm sorry, baby-sis.

You know what is funny, while I got somewhat perversely gleeful when I had a visual of Yomi swinging from a chandelier in a Disneyland hotel with mouse ears on his head and his cock stuffed into an elephant trunk kind of thong, the very thought of Parker having sex with Eliot from Leverage fan fiction eeks me out. Not that I don't like the OTP, I'm all for it, I love those two together, but somehow I can't imagine Parker having sex ... evah! I'm weird that way, I guess.

As for my own writing ... I'm seriously thinking about re-writing my Ruka story. Why? Because I think I could connect to him more if I write it from the first person POV. This way I could focus on him and let him only understand/know what he would gain from the other characters instead of falling into the trap of extensive omni-present narrative and hopping about between characters - but I'm not sure ... this would be the first time doing it and I don't know if I'm up for this challenge ... heck I'm not even sure if I should continue writing anything at all. *sigh*

All this stuff going through my head as I lay here on my couch. Not even can I cuddle up to my C's as I'm afraid they could catch cold as well.

I think your Ruka fic is fine so far, and the few character-skipping moments can easily be solved. And you should definitely continue writing! As long as you have one reader - and you'll always have me - please don't stop!

And if Ruka bugs you, you can always work on Yomi's huge erection! ;D

WHat I anaged to do is to take your Undone fic .. jotting down the time line and then applying it to mine .. which was a hellish experience because now I have some loose ends .. but then again they don't have sex before chapter 7 or 8 LOL
And Ruka is definitely not married when Ni~ya notices the ring on his finger. The ring is from his grandfather given to him by his dad, to get his act together and ask Keiko. Otherwise the whole time line goes bonkers :)

Additionally, while Ni~ya and Sakito have that beautiful/gentle night after Budokan, Ruka gets so drunk (he has to entertain Ni~ya's parents as well as his own) and has sex with a likewise inebriated Keiko. he is very forceful, very single minded and Keiko feels like shit afterwards (that experience sobers her up).

Nope, he just rolls off her and falls asleep. The next morning he can't remember anything because Ni~ya's dad insisted on filling him up with Whiskey and his own dad with sake ... he only remembers that he had sex with a woman .. but he doesn't know with whom.
Keiko asks for unpaid leave, meets Yomi and he notices the bruises on her wrists (the sex was really rough bordering on rape).

Okay, more in a bit .. I need to buy Cenour's meat for today and tomorrow and Sunday :s
