Okay, thanks to sg1padawan I will not sleep tonight *LOL* damn, that guy should be locked up (preferably in my bedroom, thank you) His looks need to be banned. All that serious, deep, intense look out of those eyes *shudders*

Anyway I made a wallpaper from the new Ned Kelly Poster which features OB :) Oh and the m.i.t.m. splash page also shows the pic ... man I should issue a warning, we are not be held accountable for any dehydration due to excessive drooling, and/or heart palpitations. :)

I'm a bit pissed off :s I slaved (literally) over a new chapter of my already existing series Denial Is Not A River On Yavin (Star Wars EU fic) and I posted it on a list on Saturday night and I only got one response back. Why should I bother to re-write something when it is not read? Especially when ppl have been inquiring about a full version of that series? *shakes head* ...

I am watching Space Night, it is on every night from 01:00 AM to 06:00 AM and shows pictures taken from MIR and various space shuttle missions. The music is pretty good too.
But I love the images of Earth from orbit. It calms me to know that it will survive even if the human races manages extinction.

No worries about the feedback trickle of the DEnial series, love.

you must consider this:

1. The L/M fandom is for conosseurs
2. People are absolutely review lazy for the last months

So, head up and please keep on writing Denial. It is a very preciouss series to me, since through feedback to it i got to meet you!

Well they are always reviewing the other fics, even Jedi Dawn that is around as long as mine :-(
I'm not complainign that I don't get good reviews, hell you know me .. but getting no reviews at all, not even from the haters???
I'm just asking myself why I should bother writing M/L fanfic for a list resembles more and more the old JS and M/L lists :s

I am sorry to say that I expected as much from the SSB list. Christ, its the same people, so what did you expect. It is a quite special fandom. So take it as it comes, and from when it comes.

But The Denial Series is one of the best SW fanfic-series ever written. And no, I dont like for example "The Ship" or others suppossed to be top of the crop. But its just me.

Anyway honeybee, dont write for others but for yourself. And for me of course.

Oh I write for myself first and foremost, it is just very disheartening if you get bugged by private email about a new chapter and then said chapter is greeted with silence :s

I think the problem with LWTC and Ship and Green Meets Blue and Jedi Dawn is that they are several novel-like fics rolled into one. They are so damn long and it seems their writers never found an end to their plots. That is why Denial has five books which are all in all stand-alone parts. Oh well I never started M/L fic for the likes of the J/S, M/L & other lists anyway, but it still bugs me.
So we are back to square one ... beneath par fanfic is always better received than okay kind of fanfic in the M/L fandom.

You know, I've done some significant rewriting of my silly elves in 21st c. fic and recently posted it. Not a lick of interest. The original was reviewed rather a lot. So I'm with you: folks don't really care if fic is well-written. Folks don't really care if writers are working hard to make a good story. Really all fic-readers want is hot smut and elves (or Han Solo) in silk pajamas.
