Fun things and the computer from hell :)

scottishlassTomorrow morning (Friday) I'll have to get my parents' PC into maintenance .. the CPU fried and with the ATX boards slowly being too old and the new BTX coming out on the market, I'd rather have them change the board and CPU. Especially as it is still a case of guarantee.
But their computer is the PC from hell. I told them I would build a computer for them but no they had to go to Atelco and have one build according to the shop assistant's specifications and it was total crap. Oh well, at least they got a five year guarantee that will run out on November 29th.
My PC is now three years old and it runs and runs and runs and runs ... but it is also a custom case so I know what went in there, where everything is connected to and why my shitty power supply went bust (I bought a less expensive one) *sigh*
