Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, member of SMAP, has been arrested for indecent behaviour and resisting after being found running around stark naked and drunk as a skunk in a park in Asaka by police last night.

BAKA!!! This will be much serious than Goro's incident. I just hope he will be suspended for half a year and then can return to SMAP ... I feel for him but public in Japan will be tearing him a new one, poor sod.
Of course there are rumours already that SxS will be taken off air as well as a disbandment of the band ... PLEASE NO!!

Yeah, baka. This is sad story. He damaged his own life and career and framed other SMAP men, too - because of alcohol. :( I really hope this will not lead to some huge problems for SMAP and they will not be disbanded because of this scandal.

But it seems to me this is not a sudden problem. Kusanagi-san has problems with alcohol for quite some time already, ne? In a few last years I read the stories about Tsu being drunk here and their, and from SMAP men, too. And about that strange habit of his - to get naked when drunk even if there ppl around.

I'm afraid the man needs help (rehab?)already.

I doubt that they disband SMAP ... after all they are still pulling the money in for JE.

Sada, calm down please. Nothing is definite and think of 2001. Then there were rumours as well and SMAP came out of the Goro incident stronger than ever before.
Let's hope that Tsu gets the treatment he needs to get better and the other four members don't work themselves to exhaustion to salvage SxS and other SMAP shows.

I don't think JE will do this ... they are still pulling in too much money from SMAP and the individual members (they get percentage on every CM they do additionally to their individual mamagers). Considering that all five are in the top list of tax payers with other JE artists left far behind I can only imagine how many millions of yen they have made off SMAP in the past 20 years. JE won't kill their golden calf.

Well it can happen anwhere not only in the JE circle. I don't want to know what kind of antics Saki or Ni~ya (OMG imagine YOMI!!!) get up to when they are wasted. And I can still remember one particular incident after a uni party where we were picked up by campus police while skinny dipping in the koi pond of our uni principle. Charges were dropped but man, it was embarrassing :) Or one particular evening where I was so wasted, I was seen Frenching my best friend on the top of a garret wall. I still don't remember doing it but from the way he behaved afterwards towards me I guess I did :( So you do the weirdest things when you get drunk as a skunk and usually you learn the lesson from it (I sure did when I had a very aggravated best friend on my hands who thought we were going steady now, while I had no recollection whatsoever). Ever since then I have been drinking one glass of hard booze or two glasses of beer or other milder stuff as my limit.

I hope so. Well, you know that I'm not so much fond of SMAP as a whole and I'd prefer them to go in development their personal careers as actors. But I'd never want them to be disbanded because of some nasty scandal, 'cause it would damage all of them and their fiture.
