The day flew by ...
Oct. 3rd, 2004 02:17 am... with no chance to catch a breath. Now it is past 02:00 AM on a Sunday morning and I didn't have a chance to write one word for my original fiction. Great, just great -- NOT! ARGH!!!
This day should really be recorded as the day of stupidity and non-sense dealings with server admins and mindless shopping. Oh, and dealings with idiot clients :s
I really wish I had a 8 - 5 job where I can leave work behind on the weekend. I have had it!
Then our gateway server shut down as ZoneAlarm as well as Norton had recorded a hacking attempt from the outside, so my AIM as well as my Dreamweaver went haywire and I had to re-set the default settings. I don't know how DW did it but suddenly I had one shitty non-formatted plain text file when I looked at the source. To top it all I had to re-install AIM. I really, REALLY am fed up. No way someone could have changed my settings from the outside, I have two firewalls on the gateway computer and one on my own ... but somehow all settings for the progs that I had open at that time had changed. I'm now back in Linux, good OS that is :)
