In Memoriam

He was my father-in-law, a good friend, larger than life and a Rheinischer Jung'. It was his second marriage to my Mother-in-Law, but you could just see they loved each other dearly. Three weeks ago he had to be hospitalized for pneumonia, then they thought it was lung cancer ... Then suddenly there was only a lung disease. Unfortunately, after surgery, one of his lungs collapsed and this generous heart stopped beating at 4 PM on Tuesday, 17th February.

Like I already said last night, I am so sorry for your and Olly's loss. I had the brief priviledge to meet your father-in-law and he left an impression on me as a very positive, cheerful person. I thought about calling you all night, but I never know what to say in this situation and I guess most people may not want to talk.


But be assured that you are in my thoughts, and if there's anything I can do, I'm here for you.
