Pass this on to 5 blogging friends.
Open the closest book to you, not your favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment, to page 56.
Write out the 5th sentence, as well as two to five sentences following that...
Currently re-reading:
"Kissing," Tilda said and then laughed when Eve shrieked in delight and Steve jerked back.
"More," Eve said.
"There's not much to tell," Tilda said, trying to sound offhand. "I opened a closet door, and he jumped me and gave me an asthma attack, so I bit him. Then he critiziced my clothes and told me he was no gentleman and kissed me."
"Ooh, ooh," Eve said. "how was it?"
"Pretty damn hot," Tilda said, feeling safe enough in the basement with Eve to tell the truth. "I frenched him."

As I hate being tagged, I won't be tagging anyone one my flist ..if you want to participate, be my guest :)
Apart form my back playing up, I now have a very wiley left knee that hurts as if someone just jumped against it. I guess my old war wound is at it again. During my school and early university years I have been an avid and very good Volleyball player. That all changed when someone from the opposite team went up on the net and came down not on his side of the net but on my side, banging smack-dab against my knee, totalling it. I didn't get just one surgeries but two and even though I can still walk and run with it, any sports that have me jumping is out of the question, hence my very sad ending in Volleyball. Anyway, since this morning it is acting up again and I really hate that. I guess that's it what ppl mean with getting old. All the injuries you sustained in your early life come back with a vengeance. *shrug*

Date: 2008-12-01 05:47 pm (UTC)Knee pains, I feel you on that one.
I'm actually not allowed to do any jumpy sports, because of my back. From a very young age, but yeah, knee too, all my joints actually, for me they don't act up at a later age but once I injure any ligament it never goes away again... I'm just lucky that way. I wonder how bad it will get once I get older =.=
Hope your knee will quiet down again soon =*

Date: 2008-12-04 12:41 pm (UTC)well, what I meant to say is we're all can feel ourselves this way, mostly because of objective reasons, and if so, it's better to relax a little, to allow yourself to do something pleasant, like to cocoon yourself in blankets, drink/eat something and watch some old good movies:)

Date: 2008-12-04 01:48 pm (UTC)I guess I should be grateful it held for the last 20 years with all the stupid things I have been up to since then :)
As I have the dogs, I can't mope around at home, so I have an assortment of bandages and stuff at home which I put on, to brace my knee so I can move around and take the dogs for long walks. In the evening though I'm quite happy to just put the leg up and keep it cooled.

Date: 2008-12-04 06:19 pm (UTC)Well after putting up with a brace fo the better part of the week I think I have supported my knee enough that I can be pain free for a limited amount of time in the future, so that is a good thing.

Date: 2008-12-04 08:02 pm (UTC)I don't really injure ligaments easily, they're over-elastic, but once I do it sticks. As of 2005 I have managed to hurt both wrists and ankles... The one that acts up the least frequent is the left wrist, but hey, that was in 2nd grade, only 16 years ago *sigh*
Hope your knee is better again :)
And you know, there's hope *lol* I got this from my father and he said that roughly since the he turned 60 these problems have been going away ^^;; No really.
