Off to Wuppertal for the NRW Day (our state day). Tonight when I'm back home my feet will be killing me and I will probably curse and cuss turn of the century clothing for LIFE!!! It will be warm today .. nay it will be HOT today of all days ... and me running around in long johns, long over knee stockings (of wool), two petticoats, wool skirt and jacket. AAAARGH!!! Not a good day for an re-enactor when all those ppl around you oogling run around in t-shirts.

I feel your pain. I do the medieval thing, and I get overheated so easily that I make my garb choices based on what is coolest, not what is prettiest. :-(

Same here, though with turn of the century you have to be covered up from head to toe :(
