I thought so too ... and gosh they are expensive. 75 Euro cent per bloom. And they are more purple than blue in the original but somehow my camera couldn't capture them this well. Nevertheless, it is stunning :)

ooh, you bought them at the florist? very nice (though expensive, ya!) I should splurge and buy myself some flowers some time. The jasmine I picked earlier this week is starting to die now (though I suppose I could sneakily pick some more!)

The "blue/purple-ness" of the flower is rather amazing :)

The camera changed the colours, it is much more purple than blue in reality.

Cut flowers in Jakarta is pretty expensive too if you buy them at a florist. But there are also cheaper street vendors that sell nice but lesser quality flowers. The pot plants are much cheaper though :D

I have a lot of potted plants here too though they do not bloom. My pride and joy is a potted yukka palm that is now 28 years old (I got it when I was 12) and it is HUGE. It takes up the whole of our window front in the living room.
