I need a new icon ... one specifically showing the Head/King deer of Nara!!! He is so cute!

Shika otoko Aoniyoshi is hilarious so far. Tamaki Hiroshi as the amazing deer man is fantastic. He is dorky, he is awkward ... he is a big woobie! And Hayase! LUV!

The show starts slow, and it is a good thing. Because the slowness shows us the difference between fast paced, modern Tokyo and Nara, still emersed in traditions. The photography is also beautiful and although the CGI are not always perfect, it has a sense of cuteness and a homey feel to it.
For me the main characters are the deers, esp. the head deer. He is sooooo hilarious. Is deer senbei so tasty? ROTFLMAO :)
I want a stalking deer - as in right now.

I think this drama is really funny so far as well. I cracked up at deer senbei part too. :P Nara is so pretty! I would love to visit the temples they showed. I agree, the CGI is kind of bad sometimes but it's not horrible. I want a stalking deer too but I bet i'll think i'm having mental breakdown as well. :P

Random note: I finally saw ep2 of Shigo's drama since it was released over the weekend. The scene were he picked her up after the awful group date was so sweet! I'm totally falling for Shigo's character. He's so sweet and such a wounded woobie.<3

Favourite drama of the season is - hands down - Bara na nai Hanaya!!! But Shika Otoko is just cute in the sense of quirky, dorky and weird.

Huh? New rumour? I only heard, yes there is a new Takuya dorama in spring and probably with the actress who played Minami in LV but anything else ... nope heard nothing :( Tell!!!

I can understand why you can't wait. The wait is killing me but I just checked and looks like LS is at QC stage of ep 3! :D I should probably wait so i could understand it better (okay and i have exams in couple of days^^).

Exams are always more important than any dorama in the world!!
Hopefully they will finish ep3 soon.
I have started subbing as well again. Found a good quality version of Yomigaeru with Shingo but the eps are only subbed in Korean till ep5 :( So I will need to find someone who can understand Japanese and translate from the RAWs.

oh no, that's about it,I don't know more, either.
I'm just a bit annoyed because whenever I ask where the info comes from and if it's an official source I'm being treated like an idiot. But if it was official and next season, they could as well make it official, the other SMAP dramas, the ones for thiss eason have been made official in early November.
Which leads me to believe that either someone wants to turn this sinto a big surprise or it's not planned for next season.
They could as well reveal it now, as if a Takuya drama wouldn't kill any other drama in that timeslot, aynway.

i've only started watching this today. yup, the start was a bit slow but not in a boring way. ayase is so pretty and she always manages to make the characters she play lovable. :)

after admiring ayase's prettiness, i started watching bara no nai hanaya and realized that takeuchi yuko is still the most beautiful japanese woman i've seen. :) i only have the first episode, i'm a bit worried as to what would happen in the next ones. it's a bit rare that a lot has already happened in the first episode.

Oh yes, Yuko IS beautiful and I love her acting. Ever since I saw her in Pride, she is my favourite actress, only followed by Matsu. Second ep is out on jdramas :)

ah yeah you know i saw a minute or two of that drama about the deers and i was so astonished ^^ when you started talking about that i couldn't really believe it existed but yeah i saw it ^^; don't know if i'll ever get to watch this drama with subs though. but seeing that deer speaking to the guy was really funny ^^;

I agree though dramas are sure more appealing, lol. I just use dramas as motivational tool to keep me going. They make good breaks. :)

Wow, i'm jealous! ^^ Yes, it does seem like most of Japan is gorgeous. :) Hopefully one day I'll be even if i have to ship myself in a box, lol. XD
