The sewing nook by the window is still a mess. I never got to it today and there are still bits and pieces lying around as well as three big parts of His Hubbiness Sunshine Quilt still to be basted together and then actually quilted.
Instead, I spent almost the whole day with playing with the dogs and taking long walks with them in the rainy drizzle.
As for Heath Ledger ... I'm so sorry.
To tell you the truth, when I first saw the trailers for Dark Knight, Ledger's Joker reminded me of Brandon Lee in The Crow. How scary that there are similarities as in so far that both died so young after playing in the mask of a crazy clown.

Date: 2008-01-24 06:53 am (UTC)Funny you should say that, because that's what it reminded me of too, and I'm a bit worried that he'll be hailed into some James Dean / Brandon Lee figure of our time now and that all kinds of people who never gave a damn about him before suddenly claim to be his biggest fans. This kind of behaviour pisses me off. I'm already annoyed that Brokeback Mountain is always mentioned as though it was the only role he ever played. What about A Knight's Tale, or The Patriot, what about Ten Things I Hate About You??? :/
