It's gay to be a wizard ... or what?

Don't worry, I won't bore you with an opinion of my own whether Rowling is stupid or marvelous. However, I'm still (years and years after the first book publication) amazed that this writer has found such a huge following. Her writing is mediocre at best and I personally know of two fanfic writers who are better WRITERS than her. If she had included a gay character in her books I would have credited her at least for effort, but like this?
*shakes head and wanders off "to see the wizaaard the woooonderful wizard of Oz"*

Date: 2007-10-23 02:09 am (UTC)As for Dumbledore . . . was I really the only person who had figured out he was gay years ago? I figured old Al was gay all the way back in book five. Though, I don't remember how I figured out he was gay.
And really, does it matter? Sure, it gives crazed 'HP is evil!' groups more fuel for the fire, but other than that. . .
