Demo Iinjyanai (all will be alright)
Aug. 13th, 2007 09:01 amGood Morning - Oha Yo - Guten Morgen !!
I started this morning with a delicious mixture of various fruits as I woke up with a hell of a headache, bordering on migraine. I have found that different fruits help me stem the migraine, esp. if I leave out raffinated sugar and other preservatives and only eat the fruits with their natural sweetness. This together with my morning tea, two pain killers seemed to have done the trick even though I still feel slightly off kilter vision-wise and that makes me nauseous but to counter all that I kept myself busy since 6 this morning.

I feel so accomplished today, I managed to upload my MP3 Player AND downloaded several photos from our camera. Not a small feat considering that these appliances all connect to His Hubbiness' all sacred hands-off laptop :)
Additionally, I have sorted through and mended a lot of my autumn clothes, like my corduroy cargos and jeans so that these will be ready once the weather really turns bad. I also bought some new fabric to start Amelie's baby quilt and found the cutest yellow and white daisies fabric. That will become the sun. I also bought some fabric for a new top and for a skirt. Still couldn't find a nice a-line pattern but I think I have found one old one in my stash which I will use as musslin pattern for my new skirt. So I will do that later today.
Yesterday, we attended Dog Day, an annual event for dogs and dog owners here in D. Chica handled herself like a pro as we had attended last year's with her too. We were a bit concerned about Cenour-Kimura as he is always a bit bitchy with other male dogs, but he was absolutely calm and collected and only once he tried to get a bite out of another dog after said dog had bitten his nose while he was snuffling. Poor baby. But, it is poetic justice, as he most always is the perpetrator on other times.
The weather was nice and almost too warm after days of rain and cold. I had difficulties with my blood pressure and didn't visit as many stands as I wanted, though I managed to hit up two stands about physiotherapy for dogs because of Cenour-Kimura's lame leg.
Right now it is so bloody cold again, we have about 19° Celsius while yesterday we were in the high 30's. We definitely have differences in temperature between ten to fifteen degrees within 24 hours this summer. And ppl try to tell me it has nothing to do with global warming, yeah right.

After almost half a year of not knowing where that ended up, I have found the one version of my all time favourite SMAP song again that I like very much. It is a rendition of Yozora no mukou accompanied by Sakamoto Ryuuichi on piano and was the ending song of SMAPxSMAP 23rd Dec. 2002. Of all the versions of this song, this one I like best :)
