OMG this week's episode of SMAPxSMAP is so hilarious and at least I understood a whole lot more thanks to the French voiceover ... Poor Kimura and Katori always meeting tourists in Cannes when they are on a kind of paper chase because they want thos two tickets for the final game of the UEFA Champion's League Juventus Turin vs. Liverpool.

Shingo and Takuya were so cute, they had to find special places like a sushi restaurant and had to eat sushi there (though I doubt it was really that tasty with an American owner and a Brazillian sushi chef from Sao Paulo).

Totally kawaii - I just fell for those two all over again ... they are almost like an old married couple - Takuya choosing the sushi dish for Shingo, Shingo holding the baguette for Takuya to bite into ... choo kawaii!!!

Then they visited Le Theoule - Pierre Cardin's bubble villa that was built half into the mountains. In order to get the next clue they had to sing Sukiyaki to the housekeeper - KAWAII!!

Then they got to this really noble French restaurant Meule something Moulin or other and the chef had a Japanese chef in training (Hattori Hiroshi IIRC). He was like Oh crap, SMAP! OMG, Kimura-san and Katori-san!! Total fanboy! And then after they had eaten he told his boss that they have SMAPxSMAP in Japan and they are chefs on Bistro SMAP and they had to cook - Hiroshi-kun you rule!!!

The French chef did like the French-Japanese fusion dish they did.
That was a really good ep - these two are so wonderful and it was good to hear Takuya speaking English (and not FrEngrish like Shingo). And they always seemed to meet tourists instead of native French :) At the end they attended the Champion's League Final and esp. Takuya was so happy (Katori, Inagaki and Kimura are footy fans).

They look so cute <3

I like Kimura's hair very much in this.

Shingo's so goofy and sweet!

Oh yes, this hair do is by far the best he had in recent years. I like it that way, though I like the long hair too but it makes his face much more harsher and older.

Awesome! Random Japanese chef seeing the boys and spazzing. Man, I really need to make he effort to follow the show more, but my interest lies in Goro and they don't ever show enough of him! BUt thanks for the caps, Shingo is lookin' mighty good!

Yep ... he was like Oh no what does my boss want from me and then his face just lit up as he saw Kimura and Katori ... and he exclaimed: SMAP!! and then Kimura-san ... Katori-san!! And his boss was like WTF?!

They look both very delectable - Nibblelicious!!

Yup ... and it was sooo cute to the the looks of horror on their faces when it was first suggested. I suspect most of the stuff that they cook is pre-prepared and they are told beforehand what to do and how to do it but I could be wrong.

Woow! Looks great! The boys are really cute and funny at pics. Thanks, Una!
I'd like to watch this, too. Is it from d-addicts?

Yes. They started to seed it just yesterday with some amazing speeds. So you should either try yourself (I use the Opera Browser with built in bit torrent manager) or ask Serge. They didn't show the F1 scenes though but all in all it is wonderful to see Takuya interacting with *normal* ppl and speaking English and then being totally happy and cheering for both teams at the football game.

Yup, but they did well and did you see Shingo eating yet again? No wonder his weight is like a jo-jo :)

OK. Thanks!
I'm glad to know boys had good time in Europe. Kimura looked too tired, almost exhausted, when they just arrive in France. I want to think he had some time there to relax.

P.S. Love this userpic of yours. Can't stop giggling every time I see it. :)

Sounds good. :)
Those Japanese men, they used to work too much. Not good for health. :)
I stsrated to download this episode from d-addics. It's not very quick for me, but I think I'll get it 2-3 days.

Oh well better to wait for 2 to 3 days instead of missing to watch it all together :)

There is not a problem for me to wait for ir for some days. :) At a moment I'm in a "Bushi obsession" period, so my mind is clouded with the golden shine of Yamada-sama's movie. :) I'm simply enchanted by it. I watched Bushi's normal DVD copy only yesterday, but today I did it again... It's hard to recall when last time I watched and then re-watched again any film two days in a row. Was it "Fellowship of the Ring" in 2002? Or may be "Stage Beauty" in 2004? Anyway, I feel happy and content.

Yeah I had 2 hours off today while there was a thunderstorm (had one little dog lady shivering in my arms and one dog gentleman trying to catch the big rain drops on the balcony) and re-watched Bushi no Ichibun. It is a beautiful movie!

LOL normally you get off food when you are in France ;-) But seriously, the sushikan stuff looked not only weird but I don't think it was very tasty. Did you see Kimura's face? He was this close to spitting the stuff onto the plate again ... and Shingo was like, okay I can't make a funny face this is too bad :)

What I noticed is that Kimura ate MY FAVOURITE WATER Ice!!! Calippo Orange-Maracuja!!

ohh the food is that bad in France? lol...yeah I felt quite bad for them, they did not seem to enjoy it at all...lol...but not like they could say that :D

hehe, very coul :))

It happened that I seems to be in a strange harmony with this film. After watching it I feel myself somehow so... calm, well-balanced, content?.. It's still difficult for me to find correct words for this strange feeling. Kind of Zen feeling. :)

Oh it is not bad, traditional French food is yummilicious, but there are also the frogs, snails and stuff that is just gross :s

Me neither ... they are icky. My first stepfather once made me eat them when I was about six or seven, he considered himself something of a gourmet. No wonder I turned vegetarian when I was 17.
