good news ... bad news ...

Bad news first ... had to remove all downloads from my SMASMA ep guide.

Good news ... was at the doctors today and it seems the two tumors in my breast have stopped growing and have actually encapsulated themselves. However, the docs are still not sure if they hould take them out or not as the two tumors are quite close to the lymph node underneath my armpit. If and when I have to get surgery it will definitely be in July where His Hubbiness™ will be on summer break from school and can take care of the little two fur noses. Additionally, I was x-rayed today as I have a slight pain in my left side and I have a cracked rib (and here I thought I had just jammed a nerve or something)!! I don't know where I got that from. I guess osteoporosis struck again - another one of those nice side-effect of chemo. Well at least I'm not in pain, it is just uncomfortable and breathing deeply is out of the question.

Even though it is quite cold and raining today (and I freeze my ass off here) I feel alright.

a year ago, i was diagnosed to have slipped disc. i was advised not to carry heavy things and not wear high heels because of my back/bone problem.
i'm sorry about the cracked rib, i was bit shocked. i hope you're doin okay.

Cold and rainy in your city? 4;) And in mine today it is abnormally hot of a sudden, almost +30 C, as if it is July now, not May. The weather is gone mad.

Kind of a mixed bag of medical news. Am very glad that things have stopped growing.

Beware fur-noses and surgical rehabilitation! When I had knee trouble years ago and was laid up for a few weeks, my little doggie could not understand why I wouldn't get up and play. So she jumped up on the sofa with me, climbed all over me, and finally jumped up and down on my knee. Good thing it was in a steel brace! Sometimes pooches are a little too eager to help. ;)

Good news about encapsulations, but I hope you don't feel too uncomfortable with the cracked rib. I managed to crack my rib a few years ago in the aftermath of a flu by apparently coughing too much and too hard (!!!), so I know uncomfortable it can be. :P.

I still can't remember where I cracked that rib ... one morning I woke up and thought it was a nerve or something, I would never have thought it was a cracked rib :s

Well the whole of April we had temperatures in the 30+s - It was like high summer season. Hope you have a bit more milder climate soon :)

What is really annoying though, I had to cancel a historic event as I can't wear a corset with that rib :s It's right where the corset starts to cinch in :(

Oh aren't they just :) Cenour thought it would be wonderful to start playing voluntarily with me ... a good day to choose when we always have to coax him to start playing. And his way of playing is still a bit rough as he never did that (so it seems) - so we ended up with him on my chest and me lying on the floor trying to get him off, which he thought was just a fun game. Fur noses!! *rolls eyes*

But I'm glad all seems to be going well though this kind of diagnosis I had four times before. Here is hoping that it will last for once.
