Craft: Sakura Bag planning stage

Although Sakura Season is almost over, I still want to make my sakura book bag :)

I found beautiful sage/light green linen fabric and a bit of finer silk linen in pink (pictures pending - I'll add them later today). I have a few scraps of dark brown velvet which I will be using as well.
Additionally, although I thought of cutting out the sakura blossoms from the remaining silk linen, I found different sized and differently pink coloured felt blossoms in a 55 cent shop that I will be using as applications.

You shouldn't need to look to closely at the seams when the bag is finished though, I'm way too sloppy :(
