I had to go to the hospital today after the chest pains have been recurring for a week. Good news is ... it was NOT a heart attack!

Bad news is ... I have to return to hospital Saturday morning half past 7 to get a scat scan. They assume I have an inflamed nerve or muscle near my heart which creates the pseudo chest pain. But I have high blood pressure, they want to get it down with meds ASAP. So if you don't hear from me for a couple of days they will have kept me in the hospital.

I will try to get internet there if I have to stay, but I hope to be back home by tomorrow evening. So keep your fingers crossed that they won't find anything life threatening during the examination.

I'm back home!!!

First thank you all for your well wishes, I guess they helped :)

So after I turned up there at a quarter past 7 this morning, the doctors came in and took my blood pressure again (which is still too high but not as high as yesterday), then they took ounces of blood again for further testing (diabetes etc.) - I really like sugar but even for me that stuff I had to drink for testing ... yuck!!!!! I thought my tastebuds would explode in sugary sugarness *shudders*.
Anyway, after that I had to do the CAT scan and did so while listening to SMAP and JYJ. Strangely enough my inner organs seem to be doing extremely well - even my liver that was damaged by the chemo therapies earlier in the 2000's is looking okay-ish again. Heart and veins, aorta etc. all look okay and no tears or other damage to see *YOKATTA!!!*
Then my blood tests came back and for someone who weighs as much as me (let's they you could make one and a half ppl out of me) I do seem to have good blood results. Low cholesterol, no diabetes, no high count of white blood cells, nothing that points to a serious infection or illness of any of the inner organs.

So it is definitely not the heart and I need to see a normal doctor if the pain recurrs again (which it already did) So on Monday I will be at a normal doc to see if it is indeed a nerve or muscle that is misbehaving.

To tell you the truth I was really scared shitless. You cannot imagine the thoughts running through my head .. like what will happen to our dogs if I died ... or what would happen to our farmhouse etc. I even updated my last will and testament and wrote down an advance directive (no DNR etc.)

And now I will log off and cuddle with our dogs and His Hubbiness™
