Passing of time
Dec. 13th, 2010 02:38 pmGoodness me ... where is the time gone????
This year we had made the decision that we will put up our Christmas tree early ... on the 1st of December. Guess what? Yeah, we still haven't gotten a tree. Traditionally we get it during the first weeks of December and then we will put it up and decorate it on Solstice, to take it down and shuck it out on the 6th January (Day of the 3 Magi). This year we wanted to keep it around longer but somehow with all the snow and stuff, we kind of forgot. But Wednesday will be the day of our tree ... if we don't forget LOL ...otherwise the misshaped little tree in our garden will be decorated :D
Planning my Christmas dinners .... on Boxing Day Hubby's mum will be coming, so I want to cook something festive. Second Day of Christmas my brood will be coming ... for the first time since we moved here. My parents and my aunt and uncle which I haven't seen for ages. My aunt and uncle that is ... not my parents, who will be coming by tomorrow to deliver the kitchen table and chairs (YAY!)
