scottishlass: (Chica Cenour Bones)
Chica is savely back home and she looks strange with her one eye sewn shut (it is the same as when ppl get a huge bandaid on their good eye to strengthen the weak eye - I always had a sylvester band aid on my eye back when I was a kid *grin*) Of course dogs can't do band aids so it has to be sewn *shudder*
Anyway, I'm just glad that she went through the whole thing like a champ. She is in heat, she is nine years old, and yet she put it all away like it was nothing. Considering that she had such a bad start in life in Spain, she sure claimed her life now as her own. I'm so proud of her :)
She sleeps now, the little mice-girl (Mäuse-Mädchen - my nickname for her when she is all sweet and needy, however when she is a little terror, I call her Terror-Terrier). Here are a couple of pics, the one at the keyboard was taken yesterday where she insisted on staying really close, so I put her up on my desk and cuddled her like a cat.

Cenour turns into a little terror as well, but that is a good thing. He was so taciturn and shy when he first came here and now he carves a huge chunk out of our time and lives for himself. He wants to be cuddled, he wants to play ... this is so good to see that he now gets more confident. His Hubbiness™ and I talked about him tonight and we will probably keep him. I am of a mind to call him Kimura (he is deaf and cannot react to a name anyway) as Cenour does sound almost like zehn Uhr (ten o'clock in German) and a lot of ppl look a bit irritated when I call him that. Imagine being on the street and someone calls his dog ten o'clock ;)

Bad news first ... had to remove all downloads from my SMASMA ep guide.

Good news ... was at the doctors today and it seems the two tumors in my breast have stopped growing and have actually encapsulated themselves. However, the docs are still not sure if they hould take them out or not as the two tumors are quite close to the lymph node underneath my armpit. If and when I have to get surgery it will definitely be in July where His Hubbiness™ will be on summer break from school and can take care of the little two fur noses. Additionally, I was x-rayed today as I have a slight pain in my left side and I have a cracked rib (and here I thought I had just jammed a nerve or something)!! I don't know where I got that from. I guess osteoporosis struck again - another one of those nice side-effect of chemo. Well at least I'm not in pain, it is just uncomfortable and breathing deeply is out of the question.

Even though it is quite cold and raining today (and I freeze my ass off here) I feel alright.
