And the weekend is gone ...
Nov. 20th, 2005 11:45 pmOlly and I slept for most of this weekend and didn't get anything done that I wanted to get done.
I wanted to get going on my 1900 Eton Jacket, it needs lining and the sleeves attached but did I do it? nope not a thing.
Additionally I wanted to get the bodice lining done for my new Regency gown and again, didn't do anything.
I guess I have to get going tomorrow morning and also evening to finish at least the Regency gown. Why? Because on December 3rd we have a Regency evening. This time the theme will be Christmas 1805. Need to get holly and mistletoe - I wish I could get it fresh but I doubt I get anything especially as holly is under protection over here, and I just can't walk into a park or wood and get some clippings.
So I wonder how to do them in fabric. I will have a look at forest green velvet as well as dark red batiste. Also I need some sage green satin for the misteltoe branches.
Also I need to get m.i.t.m. updated ... *sigh*
