Medical status

Well it seems the old bastard has done it yet again. He skipped off the boat on the River Styx. My stepfather is out of intensive care and even though he is still groggy he is lucid and very much alive.
He will need to have a long recuperation period but the doctors seem to think he will be doing just fine.
I'm relieved. I already saw myself co-habiting with my mom if he hadn't made it. My mom is that way, she would move in with no qualms whatsoever.
Oh well, at least they are out of immediate danger. I'm glad of that. Even though of all the hard feelings and bad blood between us, they are my parents after all.

I will be off now, business is calling. Then later on I have to be at the Studienkreis and from there on I go straight to my sewing circle.
