Days from hell

Not only that we didn't have any internet connection all of last week, no on Monday when I had to work on a client's contract, our network card (which doubles as a modem) busted.
Even though I went to bed at 3 AM in the morning I woke up at 6AM and carried the trash out and got rid of a huge amount of packaging material from Amazon (we have collecting stations for glass, paper/carton and plastic here in G.) and cleaned the flat a bit because some guys were coming over to check our water usage in the last trimester. That done I got a phone call from a client as he needed two new possible layouts for 2 books (4 layouts in total). Took me half an hour BUT!
Since 8:30 in the morning I had to prod and try and screw cases open, and shutting and opening, finding a network card that functions from the vast array we have of our fleet of unconnected PCs and then realizing it is not the card AT ALL, but the mainboard. The PCI card slots were busted. *sigh*
Taking two discarded PCs checking the mainboards (Our CPU had to fit) and then building up a new PC just to have a fucking internet connection!
Tuesday I got into a nasty fight with Olly (wow it only took us two weeks of conubial bliss 24/7 to erupt into a quarrel:)) resulting that he fiddled with the computer I had put together the day before and internet was gone - AGAIN!! If I had gotten away with it, I would have killed him on the spot!
Today ... today was another day from hell. It is now shortly before midnight and the internet is FINALLY working. Please, please, please safe me from men home on vacation!!!! *throws hands up in the air*
I want a new computer ... *pouts* ... Olly is getting on my nerves that he claims my computer is slower than his brand-spanking-new laptop. Of course, it is slower, my PC is from 1999 *sigh* ...
At least one thing is right ... and it is AUSTEN dammit!!
