scottishlass: (KB woman's work)
You know I'm really, really glad that I never took up reading JK. Rowling's HP series. If I had I would be now waiting (in the heat) at my nearest book store to get the new bok. No way! *lol*

Okay here are the sketches ... still not ready with my chemise and my gown (reminder to oneself Need.to.cut.the.fabric!) but once they are finished I will ask Ginny or Arngard if they can take pictures.

(don't mind the hand writing, I know it is appalling)

As I want to be at the Jane Austen Festival on Sept. 17th to 18th (staying Friday night to Monday morning) I have to put together three complete outfits:
walking dress (long sleeved dress w/pelisse/Spencer & bonnet)
afternoon dress (half length sleeves & Indian shawl)
ball gown (short sleeves, jewellery & shawl)
2 reticules (1 brown walking dress/1 white/light blue for evening gown)
1 pair of brown kit gloves
1 pair of white elbow length kit gloves

To Sew list
walking dress (green dress)
black spencer
bonnet (fitting and basting top to bottom)
brown kit gloves
brown reticule

white/blue reticule
chemise
evening gown
light blue chiffon shawl

What I bought:
Indian Cinnamon coloured Jamavar wool shawl
