Little things happening in big places ...
May. 22nd, 2005 11:55 pmFirst off, the first Masala Evening here at my home was a huge success (or so I think). Everyone had a jolly good time and we managed to watch 2 movies - Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jeyange and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Lots of laughter, snickers (about SRK's floppy/fluffy hairdo) and all in all a good time.
Thanks to Eileen, Ava & Sabine :) You rock ladies, yaar :)
I guess with the three prequels of Star Wars, the franchise has moved from geekdom to mainstream almost seamlessly. I was out and about today (election day here in NRW) and I came across two ppl who outed themselves as just too stupid to even able to live on oxygen. I overheard those two gals talking about ROTS and drooling about Hayden (well, let them). What was funny in a weirdo kind of way was that they were gushing about how they felt sad that Ani (rolls eyes) turned to the dark side. That he shouldn't have become that *black ghastly machine*. That is like saying the Titanic shouldn't have sunk!!!!
SIGH! Idiocy is still very much in evidence, I see.
